🧠 Quote Of The Week
“There is only one way to avoid criticism: do nothing, say nothing, and be nothing.”
– Aristotle
❓$100k, What Next?
I highly doubt anyone missed this but in case you’ve been living under a rock, Bitcoin hit $100k for the first time in history.
Overcoming this milestone and psychological barrier now cements it as something that cannot be ignored and ultimately silences the critics.
Happy $100k everyone!🎉 The next big milestone is $1 Million.
Marty Bent wrote a brilliant piece (5 min read) called “The Beginning Has Come To An End”.
🇨🇭 Shifting the Overton window
Following on from the approval of a proposal to explore Bitcoin mining as a solution to excess energy utilisation and power grid stabilisation. The parliament of Canton in Switzerland narrowly rejected a proposal for a comprehensive pro-Bitcoin strategy.
- 77 to 66 votes against giving citizens the choice to pay taxes in Bitcoin
- 84 to 60 votes against giving state employees the choice to receive a part of their salary in Bitcoin
- 77 to 65 votes against establishing a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve
Member of Parliament, Samuel Kullmann stated “We came close and the Overton window has shifted dramatically.”

🌳 Cornell University: Peer-reviewed paper
A recent peer review paper by Cornell University shows Bitcoin mining is profitable in 96% of renewable installations, and these profits are already contributing to the energy transition.
Some of the key findings included Bitcoin mining being profitable in 80 out of 83 planned [renewable energy] installs and profits from Bitcoin mining can empower energy transition in the US.
⏳ Bitcoin Elevator Pitch
Michael Saylor released his 3-minute presentation which he presented to the Microsoft Board of Directors, articulating why the company should “do the right thing” and adopt Bitcoin.
This comes ahead of Microsoft’s shareholder vote about investing in Bitcoin on the 10th of December.
👾 White House A.I. & Crypto Czar
U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on Thursday said he was appointing former PayPal, Chief Operating Officer David Sacks as his "White House A.I. & Crypto Czar," another step towards overhauling U.S. policy.
"He will work on a legal framework so the Crypto industry has the clarity it has been asking for, and can thrive in the U.S.," Trump said in a post on his social-media site Truth Social, without saying whether "czar" was an official title.
