🧠 Quote Of The Week
"Someone's sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago."
— Warren Buffett

🏠 A Forever Home for Bitcoin
Guernsey has granted Bitcoin Life a full international life insurance licence, and the company has launched its first product alongside it.
Here's what it actually does: you place Bitcoin (or cash to buy Bitcoin) into the policy for life, and when you die it passes straight to whoever you name, without your family having to hunt for seed phrases or private keys. BitGo Europe holds the coins, and an independent trustee oversees the whole thing.
It's really an answer to the oldest problem in self-custody: what happens to your Bitcoin if something happens to you. Founder Peter Lane said, "We believe Bitcoin is a forever asset and, therefore, it needs a forever home."

🇬🇧 Britain Gets MORE
The Smarter Web Company plans to float a new class of preferred shares on the London Stock Exchange's Main Market, under the ticker MORE.
MORE would pay a variable-rate dividend weekly, funded by the company's Bitcoin treasury of roughly 2,747 BTC alongside cash flow from its web design business.
Strategy pioneered the structure in the US with STRC. The UK's largest corporate Bitcoin holder is now looking to offer digital credit directly to British investors for the first time.

🚫 No Clarity Yet
The US Senate has blocked the Clarity Act, falling short in a procedural vote on Tuesday, 49 for and 50 against. Missing the 60 needed to advance it.
Both parties supplied votes against it, but no Democrat or independent voted to proceed. Elizabeth Warren called it a risk of "a crypto-fuelled economic crash", while pro-Clarity lawmakers say Democrats have stalled the bill for months. A revised draft in July added ethics rules barring officials from issuing digital assets for personal gain.
Regulators say they're pressing ahead with rules regardless.

🇩🇪 Deutsche Bank Opens the Vault
Deutsche Bank says it will hold Bitcoin for European institutions before the end of the year, subject to regulatory sign-off.
The Frankfurt bank oversees about $2.2trn and will run wallets and private keys for corporates, hedge funds and sovereign clients. BNY Mellon, State Street and Citigroup have all moved the same way inside 18 months.

🔐 Cold Storage Meets Lightning
Hardware wallet maker BitBox has added Lightning to its mobile app, so owners can spend from their phone without touching cold storage.
The Lightning wallet is derived from the backup users already have, so there is no second seed phrase. It runs on the Breez SDK: no node, no channels, no liquidity to babysit.
Savings on the device, spending in your pocket, one backup for both.

👤 One Man and His Agents
Fernando left his job as VP of Marketing at Blockstream to build alone. Seven months later, still in beta, the product was profitable. No employees, no investors, no board. Just a fleet of AI agents and a clear view of where this is all heading.
He joins Jordan Walker to talk about what building actually looks like now, why the code is no longer the hard part, and what happens to everyone who isn't a builder.
