🧠 Quote Of The Week
“Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning.”
– Albert Einstein

🙋♂️ Mr. Unexpected
Every time the UK economy takes a hit, the headlines call it unexpected. Freddie New’s been tracking this pattern, and now @Shakey_Ape has turned it into a brilliant Mr Men-themed thread that’s both funny and painfully accurate.
“This is Mr Unexpected. Mr Unexpected works for the government in a land called Unexpected Land.
Mr Unexpected is always surprised. This is because Mr Unexpected never expects many things which are perfectly obvious to normal people.”

🏦 JPMorgan Embraces Bitcoin (Reluctantly)
Jamie Dimon, longtime Bitcoin critic and JPMorgan CEO, is shifting tone.
In 2021, he called Bitcoin “worthless.” In 2023, he said the U.S. should ban it. In 2024, he called it a “pet rock” and a Ponzi scheme.
But this week? He confirmed:
"I am not a fan of Bitcoin." He brought up the potential illicit uses of Bitcoin, and then compared buying Bitcoin to smoking. "I don't think you should smoke, but I defend your right to smoke... I defend your right to buy Bitcoin… we’re going to allow you to buy it.”
JPMorgan is now offering Bitcoin exposure to clients, joining the likes of Morgan Stanley. Critics may not like it, but they’re being forced to adapt.

🎓 CPD-Approved Bitcoin Workshop
The Bitcoin IFA has just had its new Bitcoin workshop officially approved by the LIBF for 2 hours of structured CPD.
It’s designed for UK financial professionals who are curious about Bitcoin but cautious about its place in regulated advice.
The first session was recently delivered to the team at Capital Partners, one of many forward-thinking firms recognising the need for better Bitcoin conversations in regulated advice.

🤔 Is Bitcoin More Spiritual Than You Think?
Brian and Kelly Estes, creators of the viral documentary with millions of views, "God Bless Bitcoin," join to discuss their mission to educate the world about the moral and ethical aspects of Bitcoin.
Exploring how sacred texts across multiple religions address money and why Bitcoin aligns with these ancient principles better than our current monetary system. An absolutely fascinating conversation!
The episode is a must-listen and available here: YouTube, Apple Podcast, Spotify
