A new deep dive from Daniel Batten explores how the IMF discourages global Bitcoin adoption, especially in emerging markets.
The report outlines how countries seeking IMF loans are pressured to steer clear of Bitcoin.
In El Salvador’s case, internal IMF docs revealed a direct line: “undo Bitcoin legal tender.”
Why?
Because Bitcoin threatens the IMF's influence. It offers countries a way to opt out of dollar dependence and legacy debt systems, something the IMF isn’t eager to support.
Only a few days after this article was published, the IMF rejected Pakistan's plan for 2000MW Bitcoin mining.
Bitcoin is the disruptor. IMF is the disrupted.

🧾 Figma Reveals $70M in Bitcoin ETFs
Design platform Figma, best known for its popular design tools used by teams worldwide, has just disclosed $70 million in Bitcoin ETF holdings in its IPO filing, and board approval for $30M BTC purchase.
The company’s S-1 shows exposure through US-based spot Bitcoin ETFs, marking another high-growth tech firm quietly adding Bitcoin to its treasury mix.

đź’Ľ The UK Bitcoin Review
Cartwright Pension Trusts, the UK firm behind the first pension scheme to allocate to Bitcoin, has released its first annual Bitcoin review.
The review is packed with insights and has been published for two key reasons:
A belief that institutional adoption of Bitcoin is only just beginning
A growing concern over the UK’s economic outlook.
A rare glimpse into how forward-thinking institutions are preparing for what’s next. Read it here.

🏦 BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF Beats S&P 500
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) is now generating more revenue than its flagship S&P 500 ETF.
Despite having a fraction of the assets under management, IBIT has pulled in $187.2M in annual fees, compared to $187.1M from the much larger iShares Core S&P 500 ETF. That’s thanks to relentless inflows and a higher fee structure (0.25% vs 0.03%).
Meanwhile, public companies are also stacking faster than ETFs, marking the third straight quarter where corporates outbought funds.
The race to own Bitcoin is heating up.

🇬🇧 Bitcoin | A Competitive Advantage
It’s official, we’re back in the events game.
Bitcoin is no longer just a curiosity; it’s a competitive advantage.
For individuals, it means protecting your savings in a world of relentless currency debasement.
For businesses, it offers a stronger treasury, global reach, and a signal of innovation to customers and talent.
Those who understand this early (and take action) will benefit most.
