The founders and CEO of Bitcoin mixing service, Samourai Wallet, were arrested and charged with money laundering and unlicensed money transmitting offences.

Alex Gladstein of the Human Rights Foundation stated: “A monumentally bad day for privacy on the internet. The implications of this are so dire. A real “before and after” moment.”

🇪🇺 Strike lands in Europe

Bitcoin payments app Strike announces its launch in Europe, bringing bitcoin buying, selling, and transfers to millions.

It has also been stated that the UK is next on Strikes list and this may be coming within the next few months.

🔥 Ray Dalio exits debt money

Ray Dalio discusses the role of money as both a medium of exchange and a store of wealth in his latest article. Highlighting that most global currencies like the dollar and euro are debt. In times of financial instability, non-debt assets like gold and cryptocurrencies provide more security.

You know we’re spiralling when Ray Dalio tells you to buy "non-debt" money. Potentially a good bit of content for introducing someone to Bitcoin.

⚡️ Swipe Sales to Bitcoin!

Block now enables Square merchants in the U.S. to automatically convert 1-10% of their daily sales into Bitcoin via Cash App.

This feature is initially available to sole proprietors and single-member LLCs, with a 1% fee per conversion. Merchants can also manage their Bitcoin directly through Cash App.

🏃‍♂️ Finney Freedom Prize

The Human Rights Foundation (HRF) created the Finney Freedom Prize with the blessing and approval of Fran Finney, wife and partner of the Bitcoin pioneer Hal Finney.

The Finney Freedom Prize (1 BTC) will be awarded to the person who does the most for Bitcoin and human rights in each halving era.
